Dash 8 Q400: The Dash 8 Q400 is a twin turboprop aircraft, manufactured and designed by Canadian aerospace company Bombardier. It’s one of the most efficient, quiet and advanced turboprop planes in the sky and with an advanced cockpit and extremely well built fuselage, it makes to be one of the best aircraft for short haul hops around North America.
E175: The E175 is used on short-medium haul routes and provides passengers with an unmatchable level of comfort. It fills the gap between ‘mainline’ and ‘regional’ and provides to be an extremely efficient and profitable aircraft.
Cessna 208: Operated by our partner, “Ravn Alaska”, the Cessna 208 Caravan lives up to its expectations of being a rugged and all condition aircraft. In our partnership with Ravn Alaska, we fly the Cessna 208 to some of the most remote areas of Alaska connecting passengers from destinations no other airlines fly to. Oh and did we mention, the Cessna 208 provides some fantastic low altitude views!
A320 family: Sometimes considered as one of the most successful series of aircraft ever made, the A320 family is one of the most advanced and efficient aircraft in the skies. Manufactured by European Aerospace giant ‘Airbus’ the A320 family has proven to be one of the most comfortable and advanced aircraft in the world. The short to medium haul aircraft is capable of flying more than 6,700 km while maintaining fantastic fuel and aircraft efficiency. The A320 family was the first aircraft to introduce a fly-by-wire system and it continues to live up to those standards of technological advancements. Alaskan operates the A319, A320 and A321 variants.
737 family: The 737 is used for passenger travel as well as cargo hauling in the Alaskan fleet. The 737 is one of the most popular short-medium haul aircraft ever made and is a core aircraft in the Alaskan fleet. The 737 is one of the most technically advanced aircraft and provides superior reliability and efficiency. Did you know that our 737-900 sports the “More to love” livery. Alaskan operates the 737-700, 737-800, 737-900 and also has codeshare routes with Virgin Virtual using the 737.
Daher TBM 930: The TBM 930 is a turboprop general aviation aircraft capable of reaching maximum speeds of 330 kts and a ceiling of 31,000 ft. The aircraft is capable of flying 1730 miles and only needs a short distance to takeoff and land which is perfect for some airport in Alaska. This is one of our favorite events aircraft we have!
